Autumn is here! To me that means I add pumpkin to everything! And I mean EVERYTHING…….
Below I am going to share my favorite chilly fall Sunday morning breakfast.
Stove Top Pumpkin Apple Oatmeal
1 cup organic steal cut oats
2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 Tbsp pure pumpkin puree
1 small apple (peeled and cubed)
1 Tbsp cinnamon
Bring two cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk to a slow boil then add the one cup steal cut oats. Reduce heat to low and allow to cook for five minutes. Now is when you want to add the apples and continue to cook for about twelve to fifteen minutes. Once oats have softened and most the almond milk has reduced stir in the pure pumpkin puree and the cinnamon. Cook for another one or so. Enjoy!
